Emergency Resolved, Heartfelt Thanks to Our Community
Kitchen location became unavailable as the landowner began property development. New suitable land identified and rebuilding began.
We want to update our community on a significant challenge we recently faced — and how, with your support, we came through the other side.
What Happened
Our kitchen location suddenly became unavailable when the landowner decided to begin property development on the land we had been using. This meant we had to cease operations and find a new home for TH3 LOT’s kitchen — quickly.
For a small volunteer-run operation, losing your base is a serious blow. Our cooking equipment, storage, and the entire workflow we had built up over years was disrupted overnight.
Finding a New Home
Thankfully, through the connections and goodwill we have built in the Mayapur community, we were able to identify new suitable land relatively quickly. The new location offers several advantages: better access to the villages we serve, more space for storage, and room to grow.
Rebuilding
Rebuilding has already begun. The team has been working tirelessly to set up the new kitchen, move equipment, and get back to what we do best — cooking and distributing prasadam.
